Plus de 200 clubs de football à travers le monde utilisent quotidiennement sa donnée à des fins de recrutement, d'analyses de jeu et de l'adversaire.

Descriptif du poste

Context

SkillCorner is growing and structuring its tech teams.

We are creating a new Software Application team, dedicated to implementing features for our clients and internal teams, working in close collaboration with the Product team.

We are looking for an experienced profile able to combine:

  • Managerial leadership (leading a 5–8 people team, supporting individual growth, structuring processes),

  • Technical leadership (guiding choices, ensuring quality and relevance of solutions),

  • and Hands-on implementation (contributing actively to development alongside the team).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the team (coaching, feedback, career development).

  • Actively contribute to software development (backend, frontend, APIs), with strong expertise in Python.

  • Work closely with the Product team to scope and deliver features.

  • Drive technical decisions and enforce engineering best practices.

  • Play an active role in building and scaling our tech organization.

Example projects

  • Operations: centralized internal platform (match creation, line-ups, video event annotation, operational requests tracking, pipeline incident monitoring, ...).

  • ML/CV metrics integration: ingestion, processing, delivery and performance optimization (response times, compute time, scalability, ...).

  • Client APIs: design and evolution of APIs exposed to our clients.

  • Analytics: ensuring production performance of calculations and providing a complete environment for testing and iterating on new metrics/aggregations.

  • Video processing: building blocks for re-encoding, transformations, annotation, delivery, and storage, ....

Profil recherché

Must have

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2–3 years in management.

  • Strong expertise in Python, backend development, and software engineering in general.

  • Ability to drive technical decisions and justify them.

  • Solid understanding of distributed architectures, databases, and data modeling/schema design.

  • Solution-oriented mindset, eagerness to learn and to share knowledge.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of frontend development (Angular, React, or equivalent).

  • Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS).

  • Knowledge of analytical databases (Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse, ...).

  • Experience in video processing (ffmpeg, nvidia nvdec, ...).

  • Interest in machine learning, computer vision, or sports.
