Job Description

Role summary

As part of SkillCorner’s Operations, some clients subscribe to “fast-delivery” projects, under which we commit to delivering match data within 12 to 24 hours after the final whistle. These projects may cover a single team, multiple teams, or an entire competition.

We are therefore looking for an Operations Lead – Fast Delivery to take full ownership of these time-sensitive projects. In this role, you will guarantee the successful delivery of high-priority, fast-delivery data projects through effective planning, incident resolution and continuous process optimisation. You will orchestrate cross-regional operators without direct line management, ensuring operational readiness, while maintaining oversight of data quality and client communications. The role reports to the Production Manager.

This position requires outstanding organisational capability, strong cross-regional coordination skills, and a solid technical understanding of data pipelines and APIs. Acting as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and fast-delivery clients, you will ensure seamless alignment of information, resources and timelines. This is a critical role at the heart of both operational excellence and client satisfaction for SkillCorner’s premium services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fast-Delivery Project Ownership

  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee delivery of all matches and competitions under fast-delivery SLAs.

  • Establish workflows, monitoring systems, and process documentation for efficient operations.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all deliveries.

2. Client Interface

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fast-delivery clients, maintaining clear communication and reporting channels with both clients and internal teams (Slack, ClickUp, email, shared trackers).

  • Confirm timely submission of required match materials (video, lineups, etc.).

  • Provide proactive updates and manage client expectations.

  • Resolve urgent production issues promptly.

3. Cross-Regional Coordination & Process Improvement

  • Work with Regional Leads to allocate resources across time zones.

  • Optimize task allocation depending on match schedule, region, and urgency.

  • Ensure smooth handovers between operators and continuity for fast-delivery projects.

  • Continuously improve workflows and document best practices for time-sensitive operations.

4. Technical & System Oversight

  • Maintain strong understanding of the data pipeline (video ingestion, tracking data, GI data, delivery via APIs).

  • Monitor data flow and detect early technical issues (e.g., missing video, broken connections, delayed processing).

  • Collaborate with Tech/Product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Preferred Experience

Must-have:

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Proven experience managing operations or projects under tight deadlines.

  • Strong technical understanding of APIs and data flows.

  • High autonomy, reliability, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

  • Client-oriented mindset.

Strong advantage:

  • Experience in sports data, tracking data, or video-related workflows.

  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, Zapier, or automation platforms.

  • Experience with project management software (ClickUp, Jira, Asana, Trello).
