ROLE

SkillCorner is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow adoption of our basketball and American football products across NCAA programs. You will build a focused territory, engage athletic and sporting decision-makers, and manage opportunities from targeted prospecting through demonstration, negotiation and close.

LOCATION

Remote in the United States, with regular travel to campuses and industry events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and execute an account plan across assigned NCAA programs, conferences and partners alongside the NCAA Sales Manager and Regional Director.

  • Generate, qualify and convert opportunities through thoughtful outreach, referrals and events.

  • Run discovery with coaches, recruiting, scouting, analytics, performance and athletic-department stakeholders.

  • Deliver tailored demonstrations connecting SkillCorner data to recruiting, transfer-portal, roster and performance decisions.

  • Own proposals, procurement, negotiation, contracting, CRM records and forecast accuracy.

  • Partner with Customer Solutions on onboarding, adoption, renewal and expansion.

  • Share structured market feedback and represent SkillCorner at relevant college-sports events.

Preferred Experience

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrable B2B sales or business development success.

  • Strong understanding of US college athletics and basketball and/or American football.

  • Existing NCAA network among coaches, analysts, recruiting staff or athletic administrators.

  • Excellent written, presentation, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to learn and explain analytical products to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the United States.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience selling sports data, analytics, SaaS or technology.

  • Knowledge of recruiting, transfer-portal and roster-management workflows.
