Job Description

SkillCorner is hiring an intern to support its rapidly expanding American Football (AF) operations. In this role, you will work within the analysis and research team to develop insights and sales content to drive adoption of SkillCorner AF data

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop recruitment case studies using proprietary data

  • Analyze the stability of performance metrics across NCAA and NFL data, including validating proprietary tracking data against external sources like NFL Next Gen Stats (NGS).

  • Lead the development of new aggregate performance metrics and their validation

  • Conduct a thorough reviews of the current data quality and areas of improvement

Preferred Experience

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of AF analytics, including key metrics, trends, and performance evaluation techniques.

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Cloud Tools

  • Experience working in ambiguous environments with minimal supervision

  • Excellent analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
